Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
As an Investment Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for:
*Processing and verifying client payments, receipts, and internal transfers across currencies, ensuring compliance with CASS regulations and internal policies.
*Conducting daily stock and cash control monitoring, focusing on ISA and JISA products, to ensure compliance with HMRC guidelines.
*Managing reconciliations for market/client FX positions, error trades, and write-offs.
*Running exception reports and taking action to prevent regulatory breaches or financial losses.
*Assisting with annual HMRC reporting, including ISA statistical returns.
Experience & Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
*at least 1 years of relevant experience, demonstrating transferable skills.
*Strong academic background, with at least Grade B in GCSE English and Maths, and A-Levels (required); a degree is preferred.
*IOC qualification is desirable, or a commitment to join the IOC Pathway within the first year.
Skills & Competencies:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong problem-solving ability and the use of initiative.
*IT competency and familiarity with relevant systems.
*Knowledge of ISA products and securities, and a basic understanding of financial services operations.
