Operating from our London office, this team is dedicated to the continuous improvement of our trade surveillance systems, ensuring they are finely tuned to adapt to varying market conditions and trading strategies. By leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods, we aim to maintain the highest standards of compliance and surveillance across global markets.

As the Trade Surveillance Tuning Lead, Senior Manager, you will spearhead a global team of analysts in the critical task of tuning and reviewing trade surveillance models. Your role will focus on enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of these systems through meticulous model tuning, back-testing, and staying abreast of the latest in regulatory changes, trading strategies, and market structures. Your leadership will ensure our surveillance systems are optimized, reducing the risk of performance issues and ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.

*In-depth knowledge of trading operations, including futures, commodity, and equity trading, as well as an understanding of trading strategies, compliance issues, and surveillance methodologies.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
