The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Equities desk, aiding the investment process by supporting the Portfolio Manager in implementing investment views across portfolios.
The main responsibilities include:
*Providing active support to portfolio managers including implementing investment decisions across strategies in a timely manner
*Responsible for modelling investment views across strategies
*Managing trade orders, ensuring efficient and timely execution
*Oversee daily cash flows and manage rebalancing of portfolios
*Produce daily reports for Portfolio Managers on portfolio positioning and trading
*Ensure portfolios and funds are aligned with house view and managed within appropriate parameters
Ideal Candidate Profile:
*2-5 years’ experience in a similar role at an asset management firm
*Strong understanding of equity markets
*Advanced Excel skills
*Ability to multi-task, prioritise and deliver high standards of work under pressure of tight deadline
*Excellent attention to details
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Keen interest in financial markets
