Job Description:
My client is a global investment manager founded in 2002. More than 400 talented people manage over £20 billion for a range of clients, including individuals and families, financial advisers, corporates, charities and trustees.
Role Description
This full-time role will be remote based in the North East but it is expected that a large portion of the your time will be spent face to face with clients, either in their offices or on Microsoft Teams, hence extensive travel may need to be undertaken; with occasional travel to London for meetings. The Platform Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with the platform, sales and relationship management team.
The main responsibility of this role is to ensure the growth of client’s business with the platform. It’s essential that you consistently follow the FCA’s Consumer Duty principles. You’re expected to act in good faith, prevent potential harm, and actively support our customers in achieving their financial goals.
Responsibilities
*Build an understanding of client’s business and relationships with clients & train them to use the platform. Cross sell additional services where appropriate.
*Take responsibility to ensure all communications are accurate, appropriate and delivered at the right time, including emails, letters and reports.
*Ensure that the FCA policy of Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty is followed as well as working in accordance.
Requirements
*Outstanding written, verbal and listening skills. The role involves extensive face-to-face and direct telephone contact.
*Attention to detail to maintain the highest levels of service.
*Strong Numeracy skills to understand processes and check a range of data.
*Strong rapport & relationship building skills with various stakeholders.
*Ability to work as a team to reach shared set of targets.
*Project management skills.
*Must take responsibility for driving personal & professional growth.
Knowledge / Qualifications
*Strong knowledge of commercial objectives, UK platform & advisory market.
*Experience in investments and investment management is desirable.
*Relevant Financial Services qualifications will be advantageous.
