We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Cross Border Compliance team. Our team sits in the Compliance Department and is responsible for maintaining the bank’s cross border risk management framework. You will be responsible for reviewing legal updates from the various countries in which the bank operates and ensuring that our cross border guidelines are kept up-to-date as laws or regulation change. These are country guidelines which are designed to give clear, concise and practical guidance about the rules and regulations applicable in the countries where the bank does business.

Your key responsibilities *Reviewing legal updates from our vendors and assessing the impacts they may have on our businesses
*Making appropriate amendments to cross-border guideline documents to reflect changes in law/regulation and collaborating with and consulting internal stakeholders who will be impacted
*Becoming a subject matter expert for cross border issues within the bank to provide support and guidance to our businesses
*Assisting in the delivery of cross border training
*Building effective working relationships with colleagues across the bank
Your skills and experience *You will be an experienced professional in the banking / financial services sector (candidates with backgrounds in Legal, Compliance or AFC roles are encouraged to apply). Experience of cross border/regulatory is preferred but not critical
*You will be able to work independently and to meet deadlines
*You can manage different projects simultaneously
*You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you are someone that enjoys building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders
*You have an interest in Compliance and are looking to become part of a Compliance team
