Group Strategic Analytics is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.
Deutsche Bank has implemented a risk and control framework and governance structure to manage operational risk of electronic trading across business, IT, and production support.
You will join the central Electronic Trading function which covers risks, controls and business management topics for aspects of electronic trading that are cross business lines. This can be projects in relation to regulatory development or business aspects such as management information (MI) to business management.

Your key responsibilities *Complete independent reviews of algorithm risk assessments, for operational risks and conduct risks
*Support the electronic trading stakeholders in their risk assessment activities, identification of gaps, remediation and maintain business aligned inventories and descriptive documentation of algorithms
*Support electronic trading governance forums by reviewing incidents and preparing materials/minutes
*Perform quality assurance testing and challenge standards of controls based on data driven analysis and regulatory changes
*Assist in review of material changes to trading algorithms and question business and technology where necessary
*Work with technology to prioritise improvements for Electronic Trading Governance Tooling, test and sign off changes to workflows and enhance Management Reporting
Your skills and experience *Comfortable with challenging business and technology in a number of aspects in relation to risks and controls of algo trading
*Good knowledge and understanding of electronic trading and/or risk management frameworks, automated and algorithmic trading including High Frequency Trading and Direct Electronic Access
*Solid communication and stakeholder management skills and providing reports and briefing materials to senior management
*Background in electronic trading operational risk management, audit, technology, production support of electronic trading solutions, or with the ability to assess testing results and make recommendations as appropriate
*Knowledge of technology processes relevant to electronic trading businesses (limit implementations, testing, deployment, and resiliency)
*Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle associated with electronic trading and associated risks, supporting technology (JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, SharePoint, Service Now, Excel and PowerPoint)
