Our client is a growing private market fund, investing across Private Credit and Private Equity. Due to upcoming growth plans, further fund raising and opening new offices in a variety of jurisdictions, we are looking for a Corporate/Private Equity Lawyer to join the legal team in London.
You’ll be expected to:
*Work on private equity deals/transactions
*Work with the investment and structuring teams on term sheets for fund investments
*Assist the legal team with fund raising, structuring and fund formation
*Negotiate structures and deal documents with JV partners and investee companies
The ideal candidate will have:
*3-5 year PQE, with Corporate and/or Private Equity legal experience
*In-house experience is advantageous (including a secondment)
*Emerging market experience is a plus but not essential
*Some exposure to funds legal work (fund raising, fund formation etc) is ideal
