About our client

PER has partnered with a growing, entrepreneurial private equity firm that builds market leading growth businesses. Responsible for all aspects of internal operations across the management company, fund platform, compliance regulation, HR and office facilities. The incoming hire will be responsible for the development and continuous improvement in automation of the operational functions and analysis across the portfolio companies. The incoming hire will manage the current operations team and be a business partner to the rest of the business and portfolio companies. What the job involves *Overview of group accounting for all entities and managing cash and treasury of across the group
*Responsible for budgeting and forecasting of all entities
*Oversight of fund accounting and investor reporting
*Ensuring timely, high quality, accurate, investor reports are produced
*Managing relationships with all external stakeholders across compliance, tax, fund finance etc.
*Managing quarterly portfolio company reporting and valuations
*Overview of valuations and managing annual fund audit
*Managing investment committee finalisation, compliance and investor drawdowns
*Managing investment committee process, and checking consistency and compliance of all submissions
*Managing process of investor drawdowns
*Ensuring that portfolio companies follow processes for accounting, governance, delegated authority and ensuring best practice for finance across the portfolio in conjunction with the portfolio operations team
*Implementation of portfolio analytics and monitoring across the portfolio
*Finalising application for AIFM authorisation
*Ensuring appropriate ongoing regulatory compliance
*Ensuring best practice ESG reporting and compliance
*Management of the IT outsource relationship and ensuring all IT is best practice
*Management of internal HR processes and systems
*Responsible for all aspects of the office infrastructure, and ensure that it operates to a high standard
*Oversight of finance and operations team consisting of two accountants
Who we are looking for *Qualified accountant with previous experience in leading a finance or investment operations team ideally within the private markets investment industry
*Previous experience in implementing new systems and processes
*Familiarity and experience with private equity fund structures and service providers would be beneficial.
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines whilst under pressure
*Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
*Self-organised and self-motivated with a result-orientated mindset
*High level of proficiency in MS Office
