Job Description:
Responsibilities:
*Direct a large-scale, complex program with multiple internal stakeholders.
*Partner with business sponsors and technology to ensure the successfully delivery of the program to the required and agreed timescales, budget and quality as defined by success metrics and criteria.
*Develop and agree the strategy and approach for the overall program delivery.
*Responsible for all program deliveries ensuring quality, that conforms to the required high standards, are reviewed and signed-off by all required stakeholders with no exceptions.
*It is essential that the program manager understands the details of the solution, changes and impact to business and technology systems and any issues, and succinctly represents these and provides updates to stakeholders and senior sponsors alike.
*Implement the appropriate governance for the entire program and ensure that this is adhered to without any exceptions.
*Facilitate and drive discussions to ensure the detail is understood and captured, issues are resolved and accountability is enforced for decisions and actions as required.
*Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of the program.
*Assess and mitigate all high priority program risks as they are encountered. Ensure prompt corrective action is untaken to resolve any issues.
*Escalates risks and issues, as appropriate, to the program stakeholders promptly.
*Develop the program charter, integrated program plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related program management artifacts.
*Evaluate trade-offs between program size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value.
Personal Attributes / Skills / Qualifications Required:
*10+ years Asset Management experience successfully delivering programs in the front office.
*4+ years proven Asset Management project or program delivery experience in Fixed Income including delivery of cross functional change projects.
*Good working knowledge of fixed income instruments and processes including portfolio management.
*Proven experience of working directly with investors in the asset management industry.
*Experience of facilitating meetings with stakeholders to make decisions, review and present findings and solve key issues.
*Preparing and running detailed workshops.
*Ability to work with people across multiple time zones and can flex to different working patterns and time zones if required.
*Ability to work well with people with varying technical, business and cultural backgrounds.
*Very good experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
