Job Description:
Senior Accountant / Practice Manager
This Surrey based, family run Practice, seek an experienced Accountant to work closely with the owners. Ideally you will be ACA or ACCA Qualified or perhaps a QBE with strong technical skills. This role could also prove to be a fantastic business opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual, with ambitions to run your own firm in the future.
The practice has continued to grow through recommendation and require an experienced professional to help with the smooth running of the business. You will help oversee a client portfolio which consists of many small and owner managed companies, based throughout Surrey and SW London. The work is varied and will involve:
*Preparing statutory accounts and management accounts
*Assisting clients with Personal and Corporation Tax returns / compliance
*Reviewing the work of the Bookkeeping team
*Business Advisory work
*Onboarding new clients
*Systems used include Iris, Sage 50, Xero and QuickBooks
Ideally this role will be full time, although applications are welcome from candidates seeking reduced hours or part time work.
The firm offers plenty of flexibility for this close knit team (including hybrid working and flexible working hours).
