Job Description:
We are recruiting 2 x Customs Data Entry/Administration Clerks for our worldwide logistics customer in Erdington, Birmingham.
This is a temp - perm opportunity working with one of the worlds largest organizations.
Rate of Pay:
£24,000 - £25,000pa + 22.5% shift allowance (£29,400 - £30,625pa)
paid hourly
Hours of work*:
Week 1 - 0600-1400
Week 2 - 0800-1600
Week 3 - 0900-1700
Week 4 - 1000-1800
Week 5 - 1200-2000
Week 6 - 0800-1600 (Tuesday to Saturday)
* this is a general view of the working hours so a degree of flexibility is required.
Days of work:
Monday to Friday
Duties:
*Checking and Filing customs paperwork for EU & UK.
*Creating and requesting relevant customs clearance documentation.
*Managing numerous mailboxes between Carriers and Vendors.
*Ensuring all shipments have the correct and necessary documents to be able to cross.
*Dealing with any discrepancies and misalignments that might arise
Required:
*A stable and consistent work history
*Office working experience
*Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
*High standard of attention to detail
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
*Ability to work ALL shifts detailed above
*Clear criminal record
*You may be required to take a Drug and Alcohol Test
