Job Description:
Finance Business Partner *Contract Duration: 6-9 months
*Location: Hybrid
*Daily Rate: Negotiable
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP. This role is ideal for candidates who are at least part-qualified and have experience in finance, preferably within the public sector, although we are open to strong candidates from other sectors.
Day-to-day of the role: *Collaborate with various department heads to create financial reports and analysis that support strategic decision-making.
*Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
*Provide insights and recommendations to optimise financial performance and operational efficiency.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
*Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
*Work closely with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve financial controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Part-qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
*Experience in a finance role, public sector experience is advantageous but not essential.
*Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software tools.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities.
