Job Description:
Part Time Support Worker
Our client is a 20 year old with an acquired brain injury who lives in Nottinghamshire. We are looking for a rehab assistant to work with his treating team to implement his rehab goals. He identifies himself as someone who likes living in the country and is involved in Young Farmers. The family have 3 dogs and a horse that he likes to be involved in caring for.
He enjoys going to the gym and cooking. He will also need support at a voluntary placement with the Forest Commission
Details of main duties
You will assist our client with all aspects of his rehabilitation plan (such as gym attendance), enable him to take part in activities (such as accompany him to his volunteer work) and implement his therapy programmes as instructed by his treating therapists. You will liaise with our client’s case manager and MDT to ensure that he is receiving the highest standard of care.
Previous experience working in a care environment is essential.
Applicants must have a full driving licence with access to their own vehicle and hold business use car insurance.
Location: Epperstone Nottingham
Job Type: Part time, 15 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Rates of Pay: £17.00 per hour
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
