Job Description:
Location: Home-Based / Leeds OfficeJob Type: Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented accountant to join our client’s dynamic team. This role involves providing efficient and effective financial services, including management of P&L reports, sales and purchase invoices, report production, and reconciliations. The successful candidate will be part of a professional and enthusiastic property management team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Completion and maintenance of Regional/National P&L accounts and forecasts.
*Management and issuance of sales invoices.
*Production and reconciliation of quarterly FM/System Fees, including Ad Hoc fees.
*Monthly salary and expense recharges reconciliation.
*Updating and maintaining fee charge schedules.
*Day-to-day management of an Assistant Accountant.
*Debtor data analysis and weekly report production.
*Monthly financial KPIs production.
*Overseeing coding and processing of supplier invoices.
*Assisting in the production of instruction/client profitability reports.
*Supporting accurate budget production.
*Assisting in year-end financial audits.
*Producing Ad Hoc reports as required.
*Maintaining professional standards and attention to detail in all tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
*IT literate with strong Excel skills (including pivot/lookup tables).
*AAT/CIMA qualified (or working towards) preferred but not essential.
*Strong accounting, analytical, and numerical skills.
*Excellent team player with good communication skills.
*Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
*Ability to work to tight deadlines and interpret financial data accurately.
*Positive and enthusiastic approach with flexibility to adapt to various tasks.
Professional Experience:
*At least 4-5 years of experience in a management accounts or similar accounting role.
*Basic understanding of property financial aspects is preferred but not essential.
Working Hours:
*Normal working hours are 9:00-17:30, Monday to Friday.
*Flexibility to work additional hours during busy periods.
