Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Location:Clitheroe, Primary School
Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant (Afternoons)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:15 - 15:30
Pay Rate:£11.44 - £15 per hour, depending on experience
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Clitheroe, working with a Year 6 class. This part-time, afternoon-only position offers an excellent opportunity to support students in a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: *Assist the Year 6 teacher in creating a supportive classroom atmosphere.
*Provide one-on-one or small group support to help students succeed in their learning goals.
*Contribute to classroom management, ensuring a safe and inclusive space for all students.
*Follow the class teacher’s instructions to support students’ educational and social development.
Essential Requirements: *Right to Work in the UK
*Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
*Teaching Assistant or Childcare Qualification
*Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting, ideally with primary school students
