Autism Support Assistant - Liverpool
Are you the kind of person that would like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with Autism? If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a Autism Support Worker to work with children aged between 3-19 years on a full-time term time only basis.
Your role would be based in one of our Special Schools across Liverpool that cater specifically for children with Autism, Speech and Languag impairments, and Learning and Physical Disabilities . This is a Monday - Friday role.

Autism Support Assistant role & responsibilities:
*Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons
*Helping the pupils regulate
*Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive
*Assist with personal care
Autism Support Assistant Non-negotiables:
*Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism in an education or health and social care capacity
*Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30
*Comfortable providing personal care
*Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
