Commercial Manager *Location: South-West, UK

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join one of our clients in with Rail & Civil Engineering division. This role involves taking full commercial responsibility for projects, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery, maintaining relationships, maximising commercial returns, and managing risks.
Day-to-day of the role: *Liaise with customers, their representatives, and other third parties on commercial issues, including the agreement of additional funds.
*Manage cost and value for the project, ensuring appropriate systems and procedures are in place.
*Conduct financial reporting for the project.
*Handle change management for the project: record changes and allocate responsibility, evaluate/recover any changes that are not the company’s risk/liability, including recovery from third parties.
*Manage risk and opportunity for the project.
*Manage the commercial team to ensure delivery of key responsibilities and develop their knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Membership of a Professional Institution.
*Experience with Behavioural Based Safety (BBS).
*Experience in building OR civils.
*Proven ability in work winning, reviewing T&Cs, managing and reporting on a portfolio of work.
*Demonstrated ability in improving and enhancing team performance.
