Description
*Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements
*Managing budgeting and forecasting processes
*Providing financial advice and support to help drive the business
*Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning
*Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
*Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
*Developing and managing financial systems and policies
*Training and supervising a team of Finance Assistants
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
*Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
*Proven experience as a Management Accountant
*Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices
*In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting
*Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software
*An analytical mind with a strategic capability
*Excellent communication and leadership skills
