We are working with an established client within manufacturing sector based in Chelmsford to recruit a dependable and diligent part-time Bookkeeper to join their finance function as the business continues to grow.

Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, you will…
*Review and reconcile unallocated transactions in Sage.
*Assigning bank payments to purchases, incoming sales, and payroll each week.
*Handling expenses, including distributing credit card statements, recording entries in Sage to the general ledger, and reconciling direct debit payments on a monthly basis.
*Maintaining the credit control function and ensuring statements are issued monthly to customers.

Requirements:
As a Bookkeeper, you will need…
*Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or Bookkeeper role.
*Essential experience in Sage 50, with Sage 200 being desirable.
*Strong exposure to Microsoft Excel.
