The Role
THIS ROLE IS A 12 MONTH FTC – with the opportunity to convert to Permanent
The successful Business Manager, will play an integral role in acting as the link between Front Office and Operations by assisting both areas to fulfil their clients needs, performing functions to support the Front Office in various areas, such as Client Reporting, Client On-boarding, Client Fees and Client Due Diligence.
The Business Manager will confidently provide analytical support to the Head of Client Services as well as supporting and leading on IT projects when required.
The Business Manager will act as a point of contact for any new Investment Management services, while collaborating with the wider business areas to identify potential for improving client focused services, operational efficiency and governance of key areas.
The Business Manager is to build strong relationships working alongside the Investment Management business Client Services line managers of various teams to design, develop and continually evolve meaningful management information and KPI’s to help support the management of the Client Services Function and wider business in a changing environment
The Candidate
Experience of Wealth Management / Investment Management industry, including Front Office and Operational business requirements – in a role at Business Manager, Operations Manager, Head of Client Reporting / Client Services.
A good understanding of Client Reporting and ideally knowledge of Client On-boarding, Client Fees and Client Due Diligence – would be really useful.
Ability to gather MI - Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Strong understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements
Competent in all MS Office products - specifically Excel
Capability to think critically and plan medium and long term strategies
Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Ability to take the initiative, be assertive and think strategically
Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion
