*Assist in the planning and trading of the season across all channels to maximise sales and profit.
*Analyse sales, stock, and forward order positions to identify risks and opportunities.
*Maintain accurate records of inventory and regularly update WSSI.
*Calculate accurate projections of sales and predict performance indicators.
*Collaborate with the buying team to ensure the range meets the needs of the customer and drives sales.
*Support the development and execution of promotional and product strategies.
*Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Profile
A successful ’Assistant Merchandiser’ should have:
*A degree in Business, Buying & Merchandising or analytics.
*Previous experience in a retail allocation role.
*Strong understanding of stock and inventory management.
*Strong Excel user with the ability to use advanced tools.
*Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving.
