Job Description:
This is a brand new role for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join the Technology Procurement team of a global brand. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the sourcing of IT products and services to optimise cost and performance, maintaining high standards of delivery through quality, innovation, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
Please note that whilst this employer offers remote working they are looking for someone who can travel ad hoc to West London monthly, and you must hold UK right to work.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and support global IT procurement initiatives, including contract negotiations and creation in collaboration with IT, business, and legal teams.
*Manage supplier relationships and work closely with cross-functional teams to determine needs, forecast budgets, and develop strategic procurement plans.
*Facilitate the onboarding of new vendors and assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes.
*Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, maintain accurate procurement records, and support overall procurement strategies.
Skills & Experience:
*Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience, with at least 1 year focused on structuring, drafting, and negotiating contracts.
*Expertise within IT procurement across all subcategories
*Proficient in Oracle P2P or equivalent procurement tools.
*Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
*Excellent stakeholder management abilities and a knack for building positive professional relationships.
*A resourceful, results-driven approach with strong judgement and decision-making skills.
