Job Description:
Cleaning Operative
Based in: Wembley
Hours: 4 hours a day (FLEXIBLE TIMES)
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Summary: The Cleaning Operative is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of all areas of the development, ensuring a pleasant and high standard environment for all residents.
This role includes cleaning, litter collection, and general upkeep of internal areas. the Cleaning Operative also assists with routine maintenance tasks, performs audits, and adheres to company policies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
* Dust and polish furniture and fittings, including lifts.
* Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens.
* Keep appropriate records of supplies used.
* Empty and clean bins, ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
* Remove unattended residential waste into the bin store and report to the office
* Replenish bathroom supplies.
* Wash and dry cloths and mop heads.
* Report any maintenance issues or damages to the office
* Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and used correctly.
* Follow all health and safety regulations.
* Complete health and safety courses
* Use cleaning products safely and in accordance with instructions.
* Occasionally mop up spills ad hoc in other buildings not included within your rounds.
* Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude towards residents and staff.
* Keep residents lounge clean and litter-free in accordance with the general cleaning brief.
* Set up external tables before opening.
* Service the coffee machine.
* Load and unload the dishwasher
