My client based in St Albans is a well-established independent financial advice business who have built a lasting reputation for providing the highest levels of advice on Pensions, Investments, Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, IHT, Trusts, Mortgages, and some Protections to clients across Hertfordshire. The business has very ambitious plans to expand and grow organically and they are looking to take on either a Fully Diploma Qualified Paraplanner or Junior Paraplanner that is working towards their diploma . The firm has experienced impressive expediential growth over the last 15 years. Our client boasts a family supportive environment as well as the opportunity to progress and grow your career. They have long standing relationships with their clients and are valued members of their community.
Working closely alongside the firms Pension Specialists and Financial Planners, knowledge pensions and drawdown contracts would be desirable but is not essential for this position. If you have achieved or are studying towards Diploma in Financial Planning this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities include- Junior Paraplanner
Attending client meetings with the Advisers
Taking detailed notes and then preparing comprehensive suitability reports for follow up client meetings
Conducting product research on behalf of the Advisers and making recommendations
Preparing detailed cashflow analysis to present back to the clients
Liaising with product providers and Investment specialists
Administering client files and documenting client meetings
Providing support for client meetings including scheduling meetings
Once up to speed, taking an active part in the annual client review meeting
They can provide a structured training program to help build on current technical knowledge, alongside greater direct client exposure, to help with your progression into an Adviser role at a point in the future. Having already promoted a number of Junior Paraplanners into Paraplanner roles, this is a tried and tested route for our client, so they are actively seeking someone that wants to become an Adviser.
