Job Description:
Having been established for less than 5 years, this formidable business is already the largest independent Credit Insurance Broker in the UK.

Headed by an incredibly talented and experienced management team, with an unwavering commitment to focus on client service, this company is leaving less-focused competitors standing by the wayside!
Whilst recognised as market-leaders in several verticals, its client list spans every conceivable sector such as Engineering, Food & Beverage, Construction and Wholesale. With some clients boasting turnovers in excess of £1billion, the portfolio includes notable, privately-owned and publicly-listed companies.
Due to the continued acquisition of quality accounts, the need has arisen for an additional Client Director or Senior Account Executive to join the team. You will be based either fully remotely if there’s no regional office nearby, or on a hybrid basis if you are close to an existing branch.
Here, you will inherit an established, six-figure portfolio of clients that can be tweaked to reflect your experience, skills and ambitions. Benefitting from the support of a dedicated team of Credit Account Handlers based at Head Office, you will oversee the day-to-day management of your clients’ accounts, taking the lead in insurer negotiations and answering any enquires that may arise. As a senior member of the team, you will also get the chance to be involved in helping set the future direction of the business, as well as a variety of exciting projects.
Whilst the focus on this role is very much on the management of existing clients, rather than developing new business, you will have a modest growth target that should be readily achievable through organic growth and converting warm leads provided elsewhere in the group or by the inhouse Telesales Team.
We welcome applications from experienced Credit Insurance Account Directors, as well as from Credit Insurance Brokers and Underwriters who are ready to take the next step in to a client-facing, Account Executive style role. Importantly, you must have a successful track record of dealing with businesses with turnovers in excess of £25M.
As well as a knowledge of Credit Insurance, current affairs, the wider finance market and various insurers’ appetite for specific risks, it is essential that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from all walks of life. You must also have a keen interest in commerce and knowledge of various industries, together with a natural curiosity for ’what makes different businesses tick’.
In return, you will receive an attractive basic salary (Negotiable depending on experience), together with a market-leading benefits package and 30 days holidays (plus bank holidays) per annum.
