Ordering & Logistics Co-ordinator Wanted in BANBURY for our new client!
We are looking for an Ordering & Logistics Co-ordinator to join our client at their new premises in Banbury.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
Pay rate: £14.00 - £14.30 P/hr
Position: Ordering & Logistics Co-ordinator
My Role Overview - What can I expect?
As our Ordering & Logistics Co-ordinator you will be responsible for providing day-to-day Ordering & Logistics administration and co-ordinating activities. Working with the Ordering & Logistics Manager, proactively following up with task and showing good initiative when overcoming challenges. This role will involve liaising with other members of the Operations and Sales teams, vendors and customers.
My Accountabilities - What will I be doing?
*Dealing with incoming and outgoing communications to & from our vendors and internal teams
*Ensure the availability of stock across our warehouses through the management of inventory levels and purchase of stock from our suppliers.
*Review back orders daily to ensure any new demand is actioned in a timely manner.
*Support the Operations and Sales teams where an order needs unblocking.
*Manage supplier pricing including Price changes
*Ensuring accuracy for all allocated vendors
*Reviewing stocking levels against forecasted and run rate reporting.
*Placing orders and ensuring that order acknowledgements reflect the terms of the order.
*Arrange, Manage and Coordinate incoming and expected shipments, e.g. arrange collection and paperwork associated to the type of goods and location.
*Act as the interlock between Sales and Operations to ensure that our customers receive their orders on time and as requested.
*Manage special order items where pricing is non-standard

*2 years of Ordering and/or Logistics Administration experience
