Key Account Manager - Engineering Products
Hertford, UK
£35,000 basic, plus SIC Bonus Scheme at 20%
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Our client, a leading engineering company, is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to strengthen relationships with key accounts and attract new customers across the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for meeting sales goals, managing budgets, and providing valuable market insights to support strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
" Develop and implement a sales plan to meet objectives in the assigned region and industries.
" Provide comprehensive sales and after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction through close collaboration with internal teams.
" Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients and partners.
" Maintain strong customer relationships and high standards of service and communication.
" Document activities in the CRM system (Salesforce.com) and report sales performance to leadership.
Required Skills and Experience
" Demonstrated success in sales, with strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
" Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
" Experienced in territory management and sales planning.
