Description
*Leading the finance department and overseeing all financial operations.
*Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the charity’s objectives.
*Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
*Preparing financial reports and statements for the board of trustees.
*Managing the charity’s budget and forecasting financial trends.
*Collaborating with other departments to align financial strategies with organisational goals.
*Representing the charity in financial meetings and negotiations.
*Promoting financial understanding and responsibility across the organisation.
Profile
A successful ’Head of Finance’ must:
*Be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
*Have Charity/NFP experience
*Extensive experience in financial management, particularly within a large international charity
*Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team
*Excellent budgeting and financial reporting skills
*Experience in strategic planning and financial forecasting
*Strong negotiation skills and a diplomatic approach to financial discussions
Job Offer
