Job Description:
Operations/Compliance Officer, Bedford
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office/3 working from home
£30,000 - £32,000 DOE
This role is a little different and entails both managing day to day operations within the company as well as managing the company’s IMS (ISO, 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001: 2015 to ensure continued accreditation to the ISO standards.
Responsible for integrating and managing the company’s business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring alignment with departmental needs.
The role is split into different segments such as: -
*Emergency Preparedness Plans Integration
*Data Protection Compliance
*Document Control Management
*Integration of company information
*Regulatory Requests Response
*Management Systems Auditing
*Review of company Terms and Conditions
*Project Management
*Operations Calendar Management
*Process Documentation and Improvement
*Monthly Operations Meeting Facilitation
Person Specification: -
*Must have a strong understanding of Data Protection legislation and its practical application.
*Proven experience in emergency preparedness planning, compliance management, and document control
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
*Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Desirable: -
*Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or related field.
*Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools is desirable
*Analytical mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
