*Facilitate hands-on learning experiences in our fully equipped salon and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
*Monitor and support student progress and attendance, provide constructive feedback and one-on-one guidance where necessary.
*Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies, incorporating them into lessons where appropriate
*Collaborate with other department staff on curriculum development, enrichment activities, competitions and industry-related events
What’s in it for you?
*Competitive salary
*46 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (Pro Rata)
*Christmas closure days
*Automatic entry to the Teachers Pensions’ Scheme
*Flexible working day
*Annual staff wellbeing days
*Continuous professional development
*Free on-site parking
*Free use of the on-site gym
This is a permanent, part-time post working 18.5 hours per week with the potential to increase hours in the future, depending on learner numbers. The starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of qualifications and experience.
The College is positively committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, young people and vulnerable adults who attend its education and training provision. All staff are expected to share this commitment. The person appointed will be required to obtain a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
