Job Description:
Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teacher with experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Key Stage 3/4?
Or are you currently a mainstream teacher interested in moving to teaching in a SEN School?

The school has consistently received "Outstanding" Ofsted reports, and are committed to delivering high-quality, individualised education for all students.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Needs Teacher to join their dynamic team in January 2025, their is the possibility for an earlier start for a handover period too. In this role, you will be working with students at Key Stage 3/4 who have ASD and complex needs. Your primary focus will be to provide tailored education, support, and guidance to help these students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of students.
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Collaborate with support staff and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to education.
*Monitor and track student progress and make necessary adjustments to individual education plans.
*Foster a supportive and respectful relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.
*Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience working with students with ASD.
*Strong understanding of individualised education plans (IEPs) and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet student’s needs.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A passion for special education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
