Job Title: Payroll Manager
Location: Wirral
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000, per annum - depending on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager. This is a critical role within our organisation, overseeing the full internal end-to-end payroll process. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll management, compliance with regulations, and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full payroll process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee and process all payroll activities, including but not limited to, tax, benefits, and deductions.
- Supervise one Payroll Administrator, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and internal policies.
- Crown and People XD systems for payroll processing and reporting.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration and address any payroll-related queries.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Payroll Manager role, managing large payroll operations.
- Proficiency in payroll systems.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex payroll processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
