Job Description:
This is a very exciting and progressive opportunity for an ambitious Laboratory Technician to work with one of the leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturers in the UK. This is an onsite role based out of Alfreton, Derbyshire, Monday to Friday.

In return for your service, you can expect a salary between £20,000 - £24,000 (DOE), attractive company pension, 25 days annual leave, bonus based around individual and company performance, perks plus much more.
The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for:
*To assist the Laboratory Coordinator in maintaining product and environmental manufacturing compliance and storage and field activities associated with the core business
*Sampling, testing, preparation and disposal of chemicals and explosives, assisting with inventory management for laboratory stock and equipment
*Create and maintain effective relevant liaisons and collaboration with other colleagues and managers across other departments
*Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner
*Assist with the review of COSHH assessments.
*Ensuring that high standards of housekeeping are followed.
*Waste explosive disposal
The Laboratory Technician will need to have:
*A Level in Chemistry (or Equivalent)
*Driving license.
