Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 2.
*Provide a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents on development and areas for improvement.
*Support students with varying learning needs, adapting teaching methods and materials accordingly.
*Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and ensure a well-rounded learning experience.
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive behaviour and a strong sense of responsibility among students.
*Participate in school activities and staff meetings, contributing to the overall success of the school.
Requirements:
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.
*Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods for Year 2 students.
*Passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting the academic and emotional development of young children.
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
*A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt to individual student needs.
*A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
