Job Description:
Senior Finance Executive
West London, office-based
£45,000-£50,000
We are currently working with a leading Estate Agency looking for an experienced Finance Executive to join their expanding finance/ AP function.
The successful individual will be joining a growing and supportive team in a key role to ensure the smooth and accurate processing of payments and maintaining compliance with financial standards. You will take on a variety of responsibilities from managing month-end reports to reconciling accounts and supporting audits, all within a dynamic and evolving environment.
Responsibilities include:
*Accurately record and reconcile payment transactions
*Assist with statutory audits and tax filling by preparing necessary documentation
*Prepare cheques for payments
*Process accurate and timely payments
*Compile monthly Accounts Payable aging reports and maintain account ledgers
*Oversee VAT submissions and assist with monthly close procedures and reconciliations
*Address Accounts Payable inquiries promptly and update financial records
*Ensure all procedures comply with financial regulations and reporting standards
*Run month-end reconciliation procedures
Minimum requirements:
*AAT Level 3 desirable and/ or studying for Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ CIMA)
*Good experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within the Real Estate industry
*Month-end reconciliation experience is required
*Strong knowledge of accounting practices and reporting standards.
*Accounting software knowledge, preferably Netsuite
