Job Description:
Job Title: Auto Motive Body Shop Training Technician
Location: Welwyn Garden City, AL7 1FS
Remuneration: £40,000 per annum
Contract Details: Permanent, Full time, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
*Learn and become familiar with all brand products to provide support during key training courses (20% of time)
*Assist with workshop maintenance and course preparation (50% of time)
*Manage Academy stock control & deliveries and maintain stock levels in all mixing rooms (10% of time)
*Ensure workshop and paint mixing rooms are tidy and clear of used paint, vessels, and materials (20% of time)
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Auto Motive Body Shop Training Technician to join our client’s dynamic team in Welwyn Garden City. As an Auto Motive Body Shop Training Technician, you will provide essential support to the Training Specialist in the preparation and delivery of high-quality refinish training courses.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of all company branded products, enabling you to effectively assist field technicians whenever necessary. Your main responsibilities will include becoming conversant with all brand products to support key training courses, providing support with workshop maintenance and course preparation, managing Academy stock control and deliveries, and ensuring the workshop and paint mixing rooms are tidy and organised.
To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate will have a background in bodyshop operations and extensive experience in panel preparation, including the application of undercoats and topcoats, masking, and other related tasks.
