Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Macclesfield, SK10
Reports To: SLT
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) that will support the teaching and learning process by working closely with teachers to plan, deliver, and assess educational activities. The HLTA will take on additional responsibilities, including leading classes and managing other support staff, to ensure a high-quality learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
*Classroom Support: Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, providing targeted support to students, and managing classroom behaviour.
*Lesson Delivery: Lead classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining classroom discipline.
*PPA: Helping with the Planning, Preparation and Assessment of different areas of the curriculum.
*Support Staff Management: Supervise and support the work of Teaching Assistants and other support staff.

Qualifications and Experience:
*Education: Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 4 Certificate for Higher Level Teaching Assistants or equivalent.
*Experience: Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant within the UK aiding the national curriculum, with a track record of taking on additional responsibilities.
*Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage classroom behaviour and support diverse learning needs.
*Drivers Licence: Required
