Job Description:
We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Operations sector. We have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager to oversee the supply department for a leading manufacturer in Surrey.
£55,000 + Company Car + Pension + Medical Insurance + Lunch Allowance + Free Parking + More
Hybrid: 2 days from Home, 3 days in the office
Operations Manager’s Core Duties
*Develop supply strategies to improve flow and aging of products
*Work with the sales and product teams to meet customer demand
*Implement mechanisms to reduce aged stock
*Work with dealers to ensure the right mix of models and production
*Work with the sales team to support and recommend strategies to achieve targets
*Support in the launch of new products
*Work with stakeholders to discuss supply requirements
*Report on current supply targets and recommendations at local and national level
*Ensure supply SLAs are being met and action taken if required
*Ensure distribution channels, and internal processes are efficient
Operations Manager’s Skills Required
*Prior experience as an Operations Manager within Supply
*Experience within the automotive industry
*Good project management skills
*Good analytical skills and highly numerate with advanced Excel skills
*Knowledge of sales and marketing
*Excellent budget and cost management skills
*Great communications and interpersonal skills
