We are working with a unique and innovative organisation based in the heart of Bury, to find an Administrator to join the team and support their administrative function within a customer centric workplace.
Your new role
Working in this interesting organisation you will be providing vital support to the Business Manager, completing daily tasks to aid the support of office facilities, booking meeting rooms, invoicing customers, organising team events, booking travel, refreshments, and offering quotations for services. You will also deal with clients in a face to face capacity in your workplace, answering queries and problem solving.

The role as an Administrator
With a varied client base, no two days will be the same! Typical tasks could be organising bookings in the meeting room facilities, book buffets and lunches, responding to emails, organising social events, research, supporting with office facilities and logistics, managing elements of personal tasks (property management, personal arrangements etc) supporting other departments such as finance, HR, operations, reception etc. Alongside this you will be expected to manage administration projects, operations and provide business support. This really will be a varied, diverse role with a challenging and stimulating team and workload.
What you’ll need to succeed in the Administration role
This client is looking for someone who is an experienced Administrator who understands that the customer and administrative support you provide is key to the smooth and efficient running of a business. You should be proactive, forward thinking and have previous experience in a similar role.
A great work ethic and the right attitude to your work is also highly important.
You should be highly motivated, energetic, take pride in what you do and enjoy your role. As this role will be supporting the Business Manager, you should be able to work with discretion and confidentiality. You should have good IT skills, strong communication skills and be well organised and methodical in your work.
