The Role
This position is perfect for a well-organised, proactive individual with a blend of customer service and finance administration experience. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, your excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment. In addition to supporting the reception area, you will play a vital role in financial tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient data management within our values-driven organisation.
Duties Include:
• Reception and Office Support: Greet visitors, answer calls, and support reception duties
• Financial Transactions and Banking: Process payments, record transactions, and assist with financial documentation.
• Credit Control and Invoicing: Support with billing and maintain good credit practices.
• Housing Benefit and Rental Income Management: Monitor income from benefits and rental agreements.
• Purchasing and Document Management: Handle office purchases and maintain organised records.
• Petty Cash and Safe Reconciliation: Manage cash handling and ensure secure processes.
• Sage Data Entry Support: Assist with data entry and financial software tasks.
• General Administrative Support

The ideal candidate brings:
• Proven experience in reception or office roles with finance administration duties.
• Skills in cash handling, banking, and document management.
• Proficiency in online banking, electronic financial records, and financial software such as Sage.
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams and SharePoint, for collaboration and document management.
Consideration will be given to applicants with no prior experience looking to work in Administration. This role can offer an apprenticeship, giving you the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience while receiving dedicated training and support.
