We are looking for a dedicated Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join our team in Wrexham on a full-time, 3-month locum contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy and make a difference in a dynamic healthcare setting.
About the Role:
As an MSK Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with musculoskeletal conditions. You will work within a supportive team, managing a varied caseload of patients with musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation needs, and pain management.
Key duties include:
*Delivering high-quality clinical assessments and treatments for a diverse MSK caseload
*Developing and implementing personalised treatment plans based on individual patient needs
*Utilizing a range of physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques
*Offering patient education to promote self-management and prevent further injury
*Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care
*Providing ongoing evaluation of patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*A recognised Physiotherapy degree and HCPC registration
*Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions
*Experience with both acute and chronic MSK injuries, rehabilitation, and pain management
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
*Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage a busy caseload
