Job Description:
Excellent opportunity - we are currently recruiting for an Administrator for a prestigious Stevenage based organisation - this is a temporary to permanent role.
Temporary for approx. 3 months with a view to going on to a permanent contract- so the successful candidate will need to be immediately available as the client is looking for someone for a start in November 2024.
This role is 100% office based.
Working Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 5.00pm.
You will have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and be able to manage lots of tasks at the same time whilst providing administrative support to the wider team.
Main Responsibilities:
*Handle all incoming enquiries via the telephone and online.
*Assisting with some outgoing keep in touch calls.
*General office support, such as answering the telephone, ordering office supplies, franking outgoing post etc.
*Import date onto the database - always ensuring accuracy.
*Sending out correspondence.
*Booking meeting rooms, ordering catering, booking travel and creating purchase orders.
*Assist with admin duties for events, conferences and business meetings
*Other ad hoc duties when required.
Person Specification:
*Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
*Confident and personable phone manner.
*Accurate keyboard skills - good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
*Able to work well in a team and work in collaborative environment.
*Be very organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
