Salary: £45,000- £47,250 with salary reviews at presemt
Location: Barnsley
Hours: 4 on 4 off – 2 days, 2 nights

Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
*Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance
*Maintain ongoing communications with the operations team ensuring they are fully aware of all relevant engineering activities and schedules
*Respond to internal customer needs to maximise production uptime according to given priorities
*Comply with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely
*Planned preventative maintenance will be a daily task as one of the core values of the company
*Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed
*Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures.
Desired experience:
*You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained or equivalent)
*Have at least 5 years experience within an electrical maintenance engineer role in a manufacturing environment previously
*Have experience of machinery maintenance ideally within FMCG environments
*Possess good electrical & mechanical fault-finding skills 
*Flexible to work shifts due to the nature of the role
