Job Description:
*Job Type: Full-time, Shifts (7am – 4pm & 10am – 7pm)

Day-to-day of the role: *Conduct regular routine inspections of the buildings and grounds, documenting findings and promptly reporting any issues to the Site Manager.
*Maintain the cleanliness of the playground, paths, and fire escapes, and manage the disposal of litter and waste in outdoor bins.
*Operate and maintain school utilities and perform minor repairs as needed.
*Report any health and safety concerns or defects to the Site Manager.
*Manage the safe control of Legionella bacteria and operate the school fire alarm system, including weekly checks.
*Ensure fire safety equipment is serviceable and in proper condition.
*Handle the security of the school premises, including locking/unlocking gates and doors.
*Act as a main key holder, managing the secure storage and distribution of school keys.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
*Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
*Ability to perform minor repairs and maintain school utilities.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS clearance.
