Are you detail-oriented, experienced in managing SEN funding, and ready to make a tangible difference for students with special educational needs (SEN)? We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Funding Systems Support Officer to join us ASAP, helping to ensure every bit of funding we receive is maximized to support and uplift the young people who need it most. If you’re organized, proactive, and ready to dive into a dynamic role that balances finance, data, and meaningful service, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
*Deliver Effective Finance Support: Provide a highly effective finance service that enables the SEND Service to deliver critical outcomes for SEN students.
*Support Funding Processes: Operate efficiently within established and new processes to streamline and improve our services for SEN pupils.
*Collaborate and Coordinate: Work closely with the SEND QA Manager, maintaining accurate budget monitoring data and collaborating with the finance team using the Oracle Planning & Budgeting tool for revenue budget monitoring.
*Manage SEN Funding and Payments: Ensure accurate SEN pupil placement and funding data for all pupils, and oversee funding and payments to schools, parents, and independent providers.
About You:
*Experienced in SEN Funding: You have a solid background in SEN funding, with an understanding of finance processes that directly support SEND service outcomes.
*Finance & Systems Pro: You’re proficient with finance systems like Oracle Planning & Budgeting, and confident in maintaining accurate budget data. You know how to work closely with finance teams to ensure all records are precise and current.
*Organized and Efficient: You’re adept at managing complex funding streams and payments for service providers, with the ability to keep SEN pupil placement and funding information up-to-date and consistent.
*Process-Driven: You bring a proactive, improvement-oriented approach to finance processes, enhancing workflows to support the SEND team in delivering top-notch service.
