CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator
We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our team.
We are a well-established engineering company creating components for the Aerospace, Defence & Nuclear industries, based in Poole, Dorset
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
*Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines
*Machine items/products to Drawings
*Working with Haas milling machines 3 axis & 4 axis
*Meet production deadlines ensuring that the appropriate checks have been carried out.
*Manage time and machines efficiently
*Work to machining tolerances ensuring that the completed component is checked against the required specification
Essential Skills and Competences:
*Knowledge and experience of working on CNC machining centres.
*Knowledge of Edgecam, (Offline Programming) is essential.
*Has a good understanding of best tools for the job and speeds and feeds for different tools.
*Work under their own initiative, forward thinking and proactive.
*Work well individually and within a team.
*Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
*Self-motivated.
Job type - Full-time
*£15.00 to £20.00 per hour, dependant on knowledge & experience
*Regular overtime. All overtime is paid at time + half
*7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 12:30pm Friday
*25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
