Job Description:
Are you a skilled Geotechnical Engineer with a passion for the rail industry? We are representing a leading infrastructure company looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale rail projects that enhance and maintain critical infrastructure across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed geotechnical analysis, including soil, rock, and groundwater assessments, to support rail project designs.
- Work closely with project teams to deliver foundation designs, slope stability analyses, and earthworks assessments that meet rigorous safety and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to site investigations, oversee geotechnical testing, and interpret data to provide actionable insights for design and construction.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and provide technical guidance on geotechnical aspects of rail projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining clear and effective communication with project managers, clients, and contractors.

Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, or a related field; chartership or progress towards chartership is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in geotechnical engineering within the rail or similar infrastructure sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in relevant geotechnical software.
- In-depth understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Effective communicator with excellent teamwork and project management abilities.
