Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Homecare Recruitment & Administration Assistant to support our Administrator in our Homecare team in Tower Hamlets, London.
You will need to coordinate and provide effective office support, be responsible for recruitment and all aspects of IT administrative support to the homecare service.
What you can expect:
· Salary: up to £25k per annum, depending on experience
· 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*To assist with general office duties e.g. general filing, typing, photocopying, organising and maintaining the office
*To assist in the advertising vacancies and recruitment of home care workers
*Compiling recruitment packs, applying for references and DBS checks, gathering required vetting information, and interviewing candidates as required
*To ensure all communication is recorded and stored appropriately and employee records and service user’s records are accurate and up to date.
*Update and maintain data systems daily ensuring that records such as the Annual Leave Planner, Sickness Records, Clients Daily Log Sheets and Contact Books are accurate and up to date
*Operate IT, financial and administrative systems
*To assist in reviews of all Homecare care workers induction and training needs on a regular basis
*To maintain effective links and communication with local authority staff, carers, service users, relatives and other relevant individuals
*To assist with the administration of printing off and checking carers weekly rotas
*Organising supervision sessions, writing up notes and following up on actions raised
*To assist the Registered Branch Manager in ensuring that all quality standards, complaints and comments are dealt with promptly and to record and report any complaints/ concerns in line with company policy.
*To ensure, where appropriate, that all statutory requirements for the service delivery are adhered to e.g. health and safety, moving and handling
Knowledge, Training and Experience:
*GCSE’s in English and Mathematics
*NVQ or equivalent in Administration is desirable
*Good IT skills including the use of Word, Excel and Outlook
*Experience of Minute Taking
*Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
*Eligible to work in the UK
