Job Opportunity: Primary Teacher - Key Stage 2
Location: South Birmingham
School Type: Catholic Primary School
Start Date: January 2025
Our South Birmingham based Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated and professional year 4 Teacher to join their successful team starting January 2025. This role will be a full responsibility post until July 2025. This 1 form entry "Outstanding" Primary school offers a supportive and nurturing environment to all of its staff and pupils.
You will have prior key stage 2 teaching experience and be able to commit to a full time role from January 2025 to July 2025. Taking full responsibility for teaching the year 4 class
Role and Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 4 pupils
*Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child
*Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets
*Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and community life
Qualifications and Experience:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Proven experience teaching in primary education, preferably within key stage 2
*Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies
*Commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos and values of the school
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
