Day-to-day of the role: *Handle customer calls and process payments efficiently.
*Use procedure notes and complex information systems to process applications to a high standard.
*Respond to a high volume of customer emails.
*Depending on the service area, tasks may include reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and maps.
*Manage a caseload of client contacts using Excel spreadsheets.
*Check customer documentation and input details into Council systems.
*Quickly adapt to changes in legislation affecting service delivery.
*Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *No previous experience in council services required as full training will be provided.
*Ability to learn quickly and retain important information.
*Excellent customer service skills and experience.
*Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other IT systems.
*Strong communication skills and ability to handle high-volume work.
*Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments.
